HEZIODOVA TEOGONIJA - u početku bijaše Kaos...


Heziod (Ἡσίοδος; oko 7. stoljeća prije Krista) prvi je starogrčki pjesnik koji o sebi daje biografske podatke. Ne zna se kad je točno živio. Drži se da je nešto mlađi od Homera i da je njegovo stvaralaštvo u punoj snazi krajem 8. stoljeća prije Krista.

For of all the children that were born of Earth and Heaven, these were the most terrible, and they were hated by their own father from the first...............

Odlična mi je tematika.

I stalno igram ping pong između staro slavenske i nordijske. Nikako se odlučiti koja je ljepša. Iako su u suštini iste.

P.S. Hvala na pjesmi  :x  još ju nisam cilu pročito, tako da uživanje

Ovaj prvi link mi je dosta zanimljiv, posebno Volume II: Keys to Practical Application jer sam Eddu već čitala.

Ništa, taman sam pri kraju Thorssonovog Futharka, nakon toga se bacam na Enuma Elish što je stavio von_Starhemberg i onda ovo.   study

Mislio sam postaviti i Velesovu knjigu, kad se već spominje i slavenski politeizam, no sumnjiva je vjerodostojnost te knjige...što vi mislite o tome?

Je upitna vjerodostojnost (ako se ne varam, spominje se negdje čak da je velika mogućnost da ja zaprava napisana početkom prošlog stoljeća, nisam sigurna), ali možda da je ipak staviš uz tu napomenu. Mislim, bit će sigurno zgodno usporediti s ostalim napisanim.

Velesova knjiga se smatra najstarijim slavenskim tekstom koji prikazuje drevnu slavensku mitologiju i povijest. Sadrži religijske pasaže i povijesne zapise. Događaji koji se spominju u knjizi datiraju od 7. stoljeća prije Krista, do 9. stoljeća. Autentičnost ove knjige je sumnjiva, međutim neopagani je koriste kao svoj sveti tekst.
U jesen 1919. godine u Rusiji je još uvijek trajao građanski rat, ali se nazirala pobjeda boljševika. Pukovnik carske vojske Fjodor Arturovič Izenbek je tražio sigurno mjesto u Ukrajini i naišao na jedan opustošen zamak u kojem je našao samo razbacane brezove daščice. Pogledavši ih shvatio je da je na njima nešto ispisano te ih je ponio i nastavio lutati zemljom u kojoj se odvija revolucija. Kad se rat završio Izenbek kao i mnogi njegovi istomišljnici je napustio zemlju i otišao prvo u Tursku pa zatim u Jugoslaviju. 1923. je ponudio Beogradskom Muzeju daščice uz malu novčanu nadoknadu ali ga odbijaju. Zatim je otputovao u Bruxelles gdje je sreo Jurija Miroljubova. Miroljubovu je trebalo 15 godina da protumači to pismo. Zatim Miroljubov sa Velesovom knjigom odlazi u SAD i predaje knjigu Ruskom muzeju u San Franciscu. I od tad su se mnogi stručnjaci bavili tom knjigom uključujući Pešića, Kura i Lesnoja.

Još u stara vremena bejaše rečeno da ćemo ako se sa njima ujedinimo stvoriti

od Golunja i tri stotine gradova i sela gde se dubova ognjišta dime. Tamo je Perun naš
i zemlja. I evo ptica Mater Sva peva o tom danu i mi očekujemo to vreme
kada će se Svaroži krug kod nas završiti. Potom će Mater Sva doći k nama.
Govoraše nam Mater Sva kad bejasmo bedni: Branite zemlju našu dobro. A Vendi
kad odoše na zapad Sunca, tamo pred neprijateljem zemlju podeliše i nepostojanu veru imahu.
Borbeni i silni bejahu i ljudi veru u reč imahu.
Mi nismo glupi lišeni razuma i ne verujemo dok ne sazrimo.
Vendi, vratite se zemljama našim u stepe drevne i gledajte kakva
beda bejaše do ishoda iz Petorečja koji osta na desno odsečen
od nas. I ptica Sva govoraše da će oganj poneti pepeo do nas i Golinj porušiti
i spaliti. Bogovi Kupalo i Dažd, daždite jer ta zemlja bedna
razorena je i konjima utabana dok sinovi tvoji jašući konje njome
proticahu. To bogovi u stepama ovima dasune slaše u srdžbi. Moramo ih slušati
ne kao u vreme Anta jer ti Anti sekoše mačem mnoge i poharahu dom tvoj
jer tuđinci domove ne grade.

Tada nas je otac Or predvodio, Kij je vodio Ruse, Šćek je vodio svoje
pleme a Hrvat svoje Hrvate ... A pošto smo mi unuci bogova
odvojiše se Hrvat i Šćek od drugih, a mi naselismo karpatske gore. Tamo bejahu
drugi gradovi izgrađeni i imasmo saplemenike druge i bogatstvo veliko.
Tada nas neprijatelji napadoše i mi se sklonismo do grada Kijeva i Golunja i tamo se naselismo.
Ognje svoje palismo do Svarge i žrtve prinosismo za blagodarnost bogovima.
I tako tada Kij umre a trideset leta vladaše nama. A posle njega beše
Lebedjan koga nazivahu Slaver i on živeše dvadeset leta. A potom beše Veren
iz Velikograda takođe dvadeset, a potom Sereženj, deset. Na prestolu oni
postigoše pobedu nad neprijateljem, zlo tame otkloniše sa sinova i gradiše za nas
i za vas. I tada Goti u stepu dođoše čineći nam zlo ali odvažnost imahu
preci naši boreći se za život i postadoše slavni jer slaviše bogove. I tako
smo mi unuci bogova, Svaroga našeg i Dajboga. I tada trpesmo zlo a pre silu
imasmo veliku i branismo se od nečastivih Gota i Varjaga za mnoga
leta. Tada nas Ilmeri podržaše i tako pobedismo neprijatelja. A oni
deset careva imahu koji kao vuci behu i lavlju hrabrost imahu. Kad ih
napadosmo, oni počeše lukavstvo činiti i da se odbrane, oni mačeve sahraniše.

To je žrtva naša med, sura od devet ... na sunce stavljena
tri dana, a potom kroz vunu proceđena. To će biti i naša žrtva bogovima Prava,
kakvu i naši preci davahu. Jer od Dajboga proishodimo i postasmo slavni
i slavimo bogove naše. Nikada ne tražismo niti molismo za dobra naša i bogovi
nam rekoše: Idite Rusima a nikada neprijatelju.
Mater Sva o slavi nam pojaše, o pobedama nad neprijateljem i mi joj verovasmo
jer slava po ptici Višnjoj nebom ruskim pronosila se o nama ...
I tada kneza našeg birasmo da o nama brine.
Ako neprijatelj pređe granice naše koje ne sačuvasmo da ratnike saziva.
A ko smo mi, to Snop zna. Jer slavu uznosimo, ne molimo
i ne strepimo za životna bogatstva. Pogledajte oca našeg Ora po
oblacima što hodi uznesen silom Perunovom.
I vide Or tamo kako Perunko kuje mačeve za neprijatelje i
kujući reče mu: Ove strele i mačeve imamo za ratnike i ne smete ih se bojati
jer spuste li pogled, vojnika će biti manje nego prstiju na rukama, a ako li se do zemlje sagnu, zveri će postati kao prasad umazana blatom i smrad
će nositi tragom svojim. Tako će o njima govoriti kao o smrdljivim
prasadima i svinjama. Tako govoraše Perunko kujući mačeve. I Or je to rekao i o tome
pripovedao očevima našim. Takva bejaše borba naša za život i junaštvo mnogo vekova
unazad. I danas verujemo da beše tako.

The Samoan Story of Creation

The Samoan myth of creation, still passed on from generation to generation, is as follows:
In the beginning, there were only the heavens and the waters covering the earth. The god Tagaloa looked down from his place in the sky and considered creating a place on the earth where he could stand. So he made a resting place by creating the rock called Manu'atele [Greater Manu'a]. Tagaloa was pleased with his work and said, "It would be - well to have still another resting place." He divided the rock Manu'atele so he would have other places in the sea that would serve as stepping stones. From these pieces of rock, he created Savai'i, Upolu, Tonga, Fiji, and the other islands that lie scattered about the wide ocean.
When Tagaloa had finished fashioning all of these islands, he returned to Samoa. He measured the distance between the islands of Savai'i and Manu'a and found it to be too great. So he placed a rock halfway between and designated it as a place of repose for the chiefs. He called this last island Tutuila.

Tagaloa then sent a sacred vine to spread over the rocks. The leaves of the sacred creeper fell off and decayed and things like worms grew from them. Tagaloa saw that the creeper had given birth to worms that had neither heads, nor legs, nor breath of life. So the god came down and provided these worms with heads, legs, arms, and a beating heart. Thus the worms became men. Tagaloa took a male and a female and placed them on each of the islands that he had created. The man, Sa, and the woman, Vai'i, were placed on one island and the place was called Savai'i. U and Polu were placed on another and it became known as Upolu. The couple Tutu and Ila were the first inhabitants of Tutuila. To and Ga went to a place that Tagaloa named Toga [Tonga], and Fi and Ti were taken to the place to be called Fiti [Fiji].

Then, Tagaloa decided that men should be appointed to rule the different islands and so he created the title of Tui [king]. He created the titles Tuiaga'e, Tuita'u, Tuiofu, Tuiolosega, Tuiatua, Tuia'ana, Tuitoga, and Tuifiti, and thus established lords of the islands.

Then, Tagaloa looked upon all he had created and decided that there should be a king greater than all the others and that he should reside in Manu'atele, his first creation. He selected the son of Po [night] and Ao [day] to be the king of kings. When this boy was to be born it was found that his abdomen was firmly attached to his mother's womb. Because of this, he was given the name Satia i Ie Moaatoa [attached by the abdomen], and the whole island group that would be his domain received the name Samoa [sacred abdomen]. When the child was born, he sustained a great wound as he was ripped from his mother's body. From this came the name of the place of his birth, Manu'atele [the great wound]. When this boy grew to manhood, he became king of all the Tui [kings] and carried the title Tuimanu'a Moaatoa.

This "creation story" was first recorded by the anthropologists, Lyell and Ellen Holmes, and is taken from their study, Samoan Village, Then and Now.
