Forbes Nominates Putin as World’s Most Powerful Person Third Year in a Row


Russian President Vladimir Putin became the most influential man of the year for the third time, followed by German Chancellor Angel Merkel and US President Barack Obama.

“Putin continues to prove he’s one of the few men in the world powerful enough to do what he wants and get away with it,” the magazine wrote.

Međutim, negativni trend nije utjecao Putinova popularnost čije odobrenje ocjene iznosio 89% u lipnju 2015. Osim toga, početkom listopada Rusija je pokrenula vojnu operaciju u Siriji koji oslabljena NATO i SAD pozicije u regiji i jačanju Rusije utjecaj inozemstvu.
